I thought: “Holy shit, this is great. I wonder if there are more like that?” Thankfully, there were. I imagine many of them were shot before we had smartphones that eliminated the need to bust out your laptop in the middle of, say, a winter mountaineering trip. Or maybe I’ve been blindly ignorant to the joys of sitting down on a rock, or some snow, or stopping in the middle of a talus field, to respond to a few emails. Anyway, here are a handful of the photos:
